More About Me

My approach to Real Estate

I moved to Seattle in 1988. I have an employment history in restaurant management and massage therapy prior to my real estate career. My husband and I have invested in Seattle real estate since the late 1990’s, and this is what got me interested in becoming a realtor. I have been in my current position as a real estate Broker since 2003, and I am also one of two assistant managers at my office. My husband Anthony and I own a local south Seattle business, The Redwing Cafe, which is Anthony's baby.We live in south Seattle andI am quite involved in my neighborhood. Redwing Cafe is a neighborhood hub, based on our local involvement. However, because I have lived in north Seattle as well, I do business throughout Seattle. I believe in real estate as a way to achieve true stability and as a way to create wealth, so I try hard to make owning real estate possible for as many people as I can. My job is also one of my passions. I also love people, art and color. I feel very lucky to live the life I do.

Support

My association with Windermere keeps me informed on changes in the industry and trends in our area, while allowing me access to a variety of classes, seminars and round tables on a weekly basis. This relationship also allows me to gain from the experiences of other agents, brokers and legal professionals. In addition, I have a team of professionals I work with regularly in the areas of lending, inspections and home repair/improvement.

Who I am

I am a true extrovert and love being around people. I enjoy helping people buy and sell homes, am happy talking to people at our cafe and I love to gather with friends and family. I am doing a bit more traveling in recent years and want to continue on that path. Exploring new places and, of course, meeting a variety of  people makes me so darn happy. I am drawn to cities and architecture but also love seeing nature up close. Just don’t make me camp!

Social Responsibility

I am thankful that in helping people with their housing needs, I am also able to support organizations that promote a more compassionate world. A part of the proceeds of my real estate transactions are donated to organizations such as The Windermere Foundation, The Sam Smith “Hi Neighbor” Homeownership Fund, Rainier Scholars, Washington CAN, KEXP and other charities. I feel so lucky with what I have and am glad that I can contribute to making the world a better place.
