I am honest and straightforward in my approach to real estate as well as to life. Whether it is finding the right home for a buyer or listing a house in a way that generates excitement, a quick sale and the most money, I try to approach this with determination and a good sense of humor. Using my experience as a real estate investor and property owner, with extensive home rehab experience, helps me guide you through the process of buying or selling real property. My goal is not just to sell a house, but to help a buyer find the right home. I have 16 years experience negotiating both the purchase and sale of homes. I will keep you informed on the details of your real estate transaction in an organized and timely manner. In Swahili, Harambe means working together in unity. I chose Harambe as my name for this reason, and we will work together in unity to achieve your real estate goals.
My association with Windermere keeps me informed on changes in the industry and trends in our area, while allowing me access to a variety of classes, seminars and round tables on a weekly basis. This relationship also allows me to gain from the experiences of other agents, brokers and legal professionals. In addition, I have a team of professionals I work with regularly in the areas of lending, inspections and home repair/improvement.
I moved to Seattle in 1988. I have an employment history in restaurant management and massage therapy, specializing in CranioSacral Therapy. I have been in my current position as a real estate Broker since 2003. My husband Anthony and I own a local south Seattle business, The Redwing Cafe, which is Anthony's baby. We have family and grandkids right in our neighborhood and are very active in their lives. I am involved in my neighborhood and have been an board member of The Rainier Beach Community club for the past 9 years. I have a strong network of family and friends and love being part of a great community.
I am thankful that in helping people with their housing needs, I am also able to support organizations that promote a more compassionate world. A part of the proceeds of my real estate transactions donated to organizations such as The Windermere Foundation, The Elephant Sanctuary, Rainier Scholars, Washington CAN and other charities.
